Its been a while, theres been a few developments since my last blog post!

I’m currently working on my new website which is called Marketing Flow – the idea is that you get all the latest marketing information in one place, and i tell you about all the latest affilate products that are coming out.

There isn’t much else to say yet, apart from its not set up fully, but take a look anyway – i’ve still to get a logo for the site so it really isn’t ready but take a quick peek at my new Internet Marketing Website – its using happar which is a new content management system that i’m trying out – its next generation so it does a lot of the work for you.

This is goldmaker time.. Ready for this one?  I’ve just spent the last couple of hours outlining all of the methods I could think of to drive traffic to your website, and increase it exponentially! (and mine)

Here goes,

1. Comments on blogs, remembering to leave the url of your website.
2. Posting your link on social bookmarking websites (use bookmarking demon)
3. Using mailing lists with autoresponders.
4. Writing articles and submitting them around the web with your link at the bottom.
5. Using software to submit your website to all of the search engines.

Goes to show how something so simple can just stick in your head, now THAT is the real key to marketing, something not quite 100% clear yet makes sense.

Organic food is fast-becoming one of the largest growth areas in the UK with £1billion spent per year now in organic produce.  Organic box schemes are overtaking supermarkets in sales of vegetables in the uk.

Organic food is not only the future, also in the past, the food was by definition organic! So you can’t call normal food normal, because it isn’t! Its made using chemical fertilisers.

What about meat? Well, we managed to track down one of the first ever organic butchers, based in Perthshire, Scotland, Jamesfield Organic Centre, or better known as Jamesfield Farm rear their own animals in the traditional way which doesn’t use any artificial chemicals, preservatives or feeding them remains of other animals, which is re-assuring!

Just wondering what happened with this? It was back in 2006 that redhat were to be sued over hibernate, the object persistence layer, which is used by programmers to map programmable objects to database tables (making it easier to do anything with the data in the database)

I’m interested in hearing your opinions about myspace and what you think could be better with it as i am working towards a new website that has similar features for musicians / listeners as well as many other features, which are silently growing on the site.

There’s been a few sites over the years that i’ve put my music on including mp3.com, amp3.com, vitiminic and many others but i’ll agree that the instant gratification of what you need is there with myspace, the music plays as you go to the page - no dodgy setup of m3u files or whatnot with your media player.

Protecing your investment is a difficult one when it comes to writing software, even just normal desktop apps never mind web applications!

From what i’ve heard, its uncrackable! Great!

Its possible to sell php scripts and not worry about people ripping off your source code and re-selling it, it can be tied down to only run on a paticular ip or even mac address.

If i sell a product, this is what i would use, definetly, or a similar product that is just as protected.

SMS Stands for Short Messaging Service, or Texting as its known to the mobile fraternity.  Lately there has been a lot of talk and do about SMSing and how great it is, i’m here to tell you that if you’re doing something like phoning a customer up to tell them you’ve fixed there widget-x or whatever, then its about time you sent them a text instead! 

SMSing is really easy to get going programatically on the net now, there are various api’s provided by some providers and even desktop applications.
